What is Metabolic Balance?

Metabolic Balance is your all natural nutritional meal plan! It brings your metabolism back into balance by drawing up a personal meal plan, based on your blood analysis health report. In the plan you’ll find a list of foods that have been selected for you metabolism. By resetting your metabolism all the nutrients within your dietary plan will be converted into usable energy, rather then being stored as fat. Besides your personal meal plan, you will also learn how to eat well by following the 8 simple, but golden rules of Metabolic Balance you will balance your metabolism for the long run. In 4 steps to a new and healthy lifestyle

The success of Metabolic Balance is all about adopting a new lifestyle. With the guidance of your coach, we will establish a new eating pattern that is personal to you. In turn, you can trust your own instincts after step 4 in order to keep your body in balance. This becomes a natural choice to eating healthily and enjoying regular treats without feeling off track. So, Metabolic Balance isn’t a short-term diet, but a nutrition program that is focused on permanent results.

Phase 1 - The Cleanse

In the preparation phase, the main purpose is to gently prepare the body for cleanse and reset over 2 days. Light meals are eaten such as vegetables, fruit, rice or potatoes. This allows your digestion to take a break and your body to switch to internal energy of your fat reserves (keto metabolism). Now, you’re ready for the next step!

Phase 2 - Reset

Together with your personal food list, specific portions and 9 menu varieties, we give you the tools to reset your metabolism. The list is packed full of natural unprocessed food which rewards you with a positive dietary experience and long-lasting results. Along the way, your coach is there to support you through the eight simple rules. The rules form the basis of a mindful eating plan and keeps your metabolism in check for the long term. This step is a minimum of 14 days, however, can be stretched over an extended period until you have reduced your weight or reached your goal.

Phase 3 - Conscious wellbeing

You’ve reached your goal! However, we’re going to go that bit further than just you losing weight! We will teach you a whole new way of living. Especially, one that will stop you from falling back into old habits. This step is all about “trial & error”. Now your metabolism is back in balance, you’re able to sense and feel what is happening within the body when you’re eating. With your expanded food list and more variety, your coach will guide you during this step to feel and remember which foods are more suitable according to your body’s demands and reactions. Example of which could be bloating after meals or suffering from heartburn. Are you feeling ‘itchy’ or have you developed a headache? All of which, are signs to reenforce your acquired knowledge and experience in selecting the right foods and making more intelligent choices. Feeling energized after your meals is a sure sign you are on the right track!

You will no longer feel the stress or restrictions around the table of your family and friends and will enjoy your new found freedom which makes metabolic balance a truly exciting journey!

Phase 4 - Live your life

Congratulations! You’ve adopted your new lifestyle to reach optimal health and well-being. This also means you’re going to say goodbye to your coach.

Your metabolism is fully stabilized and you’re feeling revitalized and empowered. Your body can feel again and that resulted in a heightened sense of taste and sense of smell. You can trust these senses again and choose for a healthier life. Since you know how to cheat well, you can keep enjoying your daily life! The best thing of all, is that you will decide what you eat and how much you eat. You will make more deliberate choices to keep your metabolism in check. Enjoy!

Costs 

Our coaches are independent entrepreneurs with their own practices as nutritionists, naturopaths, dietitians or personal trainers. That’s why we can only tell you a recommended price (925 euros).  What we can tell you is that the coach can only offer a package of 10 consultations, since research has shown that this is the average amount of consultations needed to implement a successful change in lifestyle. The coach will decide, based upon your situation and his specialty, what is needed. The final costs should be somewhere around the recommended price mentioned above. Depending on your insurance, your consultations may be eligible for reimbursement based on the profession of your coach (for example dietitian or naturopath). To make an accurate estimate of the costs, it is best to contact a coach near you.

An extensive intake
This intake comprises an elaborate analysis of your personal lifestyle, medical history and bloodwork.
Thorough blood analysis
We analyze 36 of your blood levels.
Personal meal plan
Based on the results of your bloodwork, we will make a personal meal plan for you.
Clear explanation of the program
Your coach will go over all the principles, steps and the eight Metabolic Balance rules step by step with you.
Start of your personal meal plan
With the help of your coach, you will start resetting your body to get your metabolism back into balance.
Personal guidance that will help you to implement the new lifestyle
You will learn how to make conscious choices about your diet that will be in line with your metabolism.
Access to the private Facebook group for participants (only in Dutch)
In this group, you can share your experiences and recipes with other participants and take a look at theirs.

You can discuss with your coach what you want to talk about or tackle in your consults. 

In order to estimate whether the program fits for you or not, you can plan an introductory conversation with one of our coaches. They will explain all facets of the program, so you will have a clear vision of what you can expect whenever you’re starting the program or even whether the program seems handy for you or not. This is a great moment to determine if you and your coach are a match made in heaven.

Reimbursements by health insurance

Depending on the profession of your coach and his/her affiliation to an occupational group, your consults may be eligible for (partly) reimbursements. Ask your coach for more details about this.

Is your coach a nutritionist? Then, the consults will be seen as alternative medicine in your insurance policy. If this is part of your insurance package, you will receive reimbursements for a (great) part of the costs. Learn more about the reimbursements for nutritionist.

Is your coach a certified dietitian? Also now, you will possibly get reimbursements via your insurance. Learn more about the dietitian reimbursements here.

Sadly, the Metabolic Balance program isn’t part of any insurance package.
